This policy describes what personal information Casa Jazmin collects when you visit casajazmin.com or submit a reservation inquiry, how we use that information, and who has access to it. Casa Jazmin is a small private-owner rental in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. There is no marketing list, no advertising network, and no data broker on the other side of this site.
What we collect
When you submit a reservation inquiry, we collect the name, email address, phone number, arrival and departure dates, guest count, and any notes you write about your group. Our web host records standard server logs, which include the IP address of your device and the pages you visited. We do not run analytics scripts, tracking pixels, advertising cookies, or fingerprinting at this time. If we add analytics in the future, this policy will be updated in advance.
How we use it
We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry, prepare a written quote and rental agreement, confirm the reservation, coordinate arrival details, and issue a receipt. We do not sell, rent, share, or trade your information with any third party for marketing purposes.
Who processes it on our behalf
Reservation and email delivery are handled by three service providers: Vercel (hosting and server logs), Neon (encrypted PostgreSQL database), and Resend (transactional email). Each is bound by its own security and privacy commitments. Payment for a confirmed reservation is arranged directly with the owner by bank transfer, wire, Zelle, or Wise. We do not store payment card numbers on this site.
Cookies
The site sets a single session cookie only when the property owner signs in to the private admin area. There are no advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking cookies on the guest-facing site.
How long we keep it
Reservation records are retained for the period required by Mexican tax and civil law, generally five years after the stay. Inquiry records that do not become bookings are kept for up to twelve months so we can respond if you write back. You may request deletion of your information at any time by writing to the email address below; we will honor the request except where a record is required to be retained by law.
Your rights
Under Mexico's Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) and comparable laws in the United States and Europe, you have the right to access, correct, cancel, or object to the use of your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, contact the address below and we will respond within 30 days.
